You are the HEART of Siouxland! Thank you for your dedication to this community…. This book is to commemorate and acknowledge all the businesses of Siouxland who have contributed immensely to the growth and prosperity of our community  by employing countless individuals-kids, adults, and family breadwinners who have helped our city become the “unforgettable “community it is today. It is also dedicated to the readers who want to know all about the businesses that they love so much, and their history of growth over the years. Lets not forget our past, for it soon becomes our future.

This is a book we can leave to our children and grandchildren and it will be a book dedicated to the parents of the children running their businesses now, or other relatives/friends who are carrying on their name.  I am putting together this book for all the families and businesses who do not want to leave this life without being remembered- in a detailed written story/history of the blood, sweat and tears they put into their business to be successful, overcoming adversity, health problems, economic set backs and the usual ups and downs of business throughout the years.  Each business will receive 20 to 50 books with their sponsorship–of their commemorative story with photos. The books may be distributed and or sold to their customers, and friends as a keepsake or gift and kept in the family as a cherished memory of their parents or relatives  ’ legacy & story of their business past & present into our future. !!!  

• The book is being paid for by sponsorships-prices depend on the size of page/story bought-everyone will get in the book-regardless however-we are selling half pages, full pages and two page spreads  for stories/history and photos. Everyone will receive books for participating.

75  businesses  & 25 Organizations /people  will be featured from the community- in this much needed historical book of Siouxland. It is called the Heart & Soul of Siouxland because that’s what the businesses ARE that have been here since the late   40s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, etc…we will also commemorate 50 businesses –as an advertorial.
